I came in with an automotive emergency while moving my son to town, and these guys jumped right into action! The guys at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, the turnaround time was exceptional, and the price was more than fair. Communication was straightforward and uncomplicated, and I really appreciated the call letting me know my vehicle was ready for pickup. What impressed me even more was that they’ve checked in with me twice since my visit to make sure everything was still going well. I also really appreciated that I never felt like they were trying to sell me on repairs or services I didn’t need. They took care of the problem I came in with, were honest and straightforward about it, and got me back on the road. It’s stressful enough dealing with an unexpected car problem, especially in the middle of moving your kid, and Madison Automotive made the whole situation so much easier. I truly appreciated their kindness, honesty, efficiency, and great service. I would absolutely recommend them!

Explained problem to them they found the problem right away fixed and had us bad going sooner than expected They went extra mile to look for recall but was already performed after talking to them determined it was the recall that caused problem most likely have been to other shops because they do repairs with tires Been here multiple times with hard repairs they get it done right always Thank you guys for job well done Tks

Just bad experience, parts changer, they got the latest scanner technology to diagnose vehicles but they dont know how to use them properly, just money makers like most of mechanics in REXBURG area

have a Fiat 500, and when I needed help, I called 2 dealerships and at least 10 different mechanics around Rexburg. Every single one of them refused to work on itexcept Madison Automotive. They told me to bring my car in, and they had it fixed in less than 2 hours! Not only were they fast, but they only charged me $120. Super quick, honest, and reliabledefinitely the place Ill go back to for any future car work.

Madison Automotive, as always, did an awesome job! Kolton was great at keeping us informed of the estimate and then updating us once the repairs were done. These guys are always honest with us, even if the cost/amount of repairs are unexpected. They always are open in telling us which items are urgent and which ones can wait until later, keeping us safe and also helping us save money. This is why we keep taking our vehicles there and refer them to family and friends.

We had a great experience. We felt like we were treated well and not trying to be oversold on anything. Normally we have an overwhelming experience with mechanics, but we didn't here. Very professional and not an expensive job like we were anticipating.

Madison automotive is top notch. Took my car in to get serviced with some possible concerns. Jared did a phenomenal job of explaining things to look out for and a outstanding job servicing my vehicle for an good price. They found a loose/weak radiator hose clamp and replaced it free of charge. Very impressed with Madison automotive. Thanks for the great work!!

Timely service at a fair price

Friendly, but lazy service. I took my car in after noticing uneven tire wear and some concerning noises while driving. What I received was a lazy inspection that that missed a number of glaring issues and misdiagnosed others - in part because they did not test drive the car (no increase on the odometer, which was reflected on the invoice.) The mechanic completely missed a loud and obviously bad timing chain, a clearly failed rear shock, and a badly leaking rear pinion seal and differential cover even though they claimed to have checked the fluids. They apparently did not inspect the front brakes which were due for replacement. The only recommended repairs/replacements were for some steering/suspension components... in actuality the car only needed new tires, an alignment, and the rear shock replaced to address the tire wear and road noise. The other issues were obviously completely missed. If the vehicle had been diagnosed properly they could have scheduled ~$5000 worth or work which I was - begrudgingly - prepared to pay for. That work has now been done elsewhere.

The quality of work at Madison Automotive is great! They have knowledgable staff that are great to work with. They are good at keeping in touch and helping you to know the status of your vehicle. I recommend them to my friends.

Phenomenal expertise with quick turn around on a full engine block replacement. They quoted me a price, stuck to that price and supplied the warranty needed and as promised! Peace of mind!

I drive all the way from Idaho Falls to use this shop. I've been going here for years and they are the best! They are fast and their customer service is unmatched. They communicate the car lingo and scheduling so well, and are just the nicest people around.

I love this shop. I’ve come here off and on for several years, but today, Brian was incredibly helpful to me, and went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I had a nail in my tire and wasn’t going to have another vehicle to get me around, and Brian took care of it with less than an hour left before they closed. No hassle or question, he just got it done. Great team over here, I’d give them an extra star if I could!

Madison automotive is by far one of the best auto mechanics services I’ve ever used. The owners and staff are very friendly and honest in their work, and their prices are the most fair and reasonable in the area. I’ve been to them multiple times to diagnose my vehicles and do work on them, and they have always been upfront and honest about my vehicle. They are fast reliable hardworking individuals who have been in the same place/situation as us college kids and just try to do everything to help us get back on the road. I’ve never trusted a mechanic shop as much as I do this one, and will continue to go to them for as long as I am up here. I appreciate their great service and love for their profession.

If you want to replace your clutch and slave cylinder again after three years due to incorrect assembly, then this is your place.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Madison Automotive/Uwrench. I've been going to them since about 2015, first bringing my Lancer and now I bring my Camry. They've fixed everything: blown gasket, cracked drip pans, sensors, changed and fixed tires, oil changes, bent hood latch, etc. - that's just off the top of my head. My brother uses them, when my dad was up here for a year he used them. For as long as I live in Idaho, I will allow only them to work on my vehicles. They're honest, reliable, and really fun to just chat with. They have explained car issues in ways that I understand - and I know nothing about cars. When I have questions, they answer them all. I feel like they're fairly priced but even if they were more expensive, I'd still go to them. You can't put a price tag on an honest, reliable mechanic. They're a group of hardworking guys and they deserve all the success they have <3

Easy to work with and friendly!

Great overall service for the price! I had previously taken my Ford to 2 different dealership mechanics to diagnose the check engine light, and they kept charging me an arm and a leg to tell me it was the ignition coil (it wasn’t). I dropped off my car here and within an hour received a call letting me know it was the wiring leading up to the ignition coil and was surprised at how cheap the fix was. 2 weeks later and the problem is nowhere to be found.

Took my vehicle in for a general inspection. Uwrench got it right in and provided me with an honest quote not upselling things that had already been done but things that were actually needed. The price was fair and the work was done professionally. Communications throughout the entire experience was fantastic. I will definitely be using Uwrench for my future mechanic needs.

I have gone to uWrench multiple times for different vehicles. They are the best in the area when it comes to: - communication - being professional - doing solid work There have been times getting quotes that they have been slightly above local competitors, but it has been so worth it. Wow amazing service.. we felt something was up with our van as we came through town so took it in for a check. These awesome guys did a thorough check on the same day and couldn't find anything wrong which put us at ease and they didn't charge us anything! Super nice, honest mechanics. I highly recommend!
